Confirm the hospital arrangement
Ask whether the university assigns an affiliated hospital, whether students can intern elsewhere, and which approvals are needed for an overseas placement.
Language and supervision
Patient communication usually requires Chinese. Confirm the expected language level, supervision, department rotation and assessment method.
Documents to collect
Keep the internship certificate, dates, departments, logbook, attendance, supervisor names and hospital contact details.
Fees
Do not assume the academic tuition or hostel charge remains unchanged. The university or hospital may apply a separate policy, so the public cost plan should show internship as a distinct item.
