Recognition and Licensing Guidance
University recognition, program authorization, degree wording and permission to practise are separate regulatory checks.
1. University and qualification
Verify the exact medical school, campus and qualification—not only the parent university’s name.
2. Program authorization
Check the current intake year, teaching language and official Clinical Medicine recruitment status.
3. Licensing pathway
Confirm student registration, provisional registration, examinations, internship and full-registration rules in your destination country.
Pakistan-focused verification workflow
- Check the current PM&DC policy before admission.
- Confirm the exact foreign institution and qualification in official PM&DC material.
- Retain admission letters, fee receipts, transcripts, clinical records and passport/visa history.
- Recheck the regulator’s foreign-graduate examination and provisional-registration rules before graduation.
- Do not rely solely on a consultant badge, screenshot or old recognition list.
Regulatory warning: Rules can change between admission and graduation. Recheck official regulator notices periodically and before paying non-refundable fees.
